24 Dec 21, Thai Sea Conservation Association's project to deliver seafood to aid covid-19

Today, Let's Sea introduces to you about a new project from the Thai Sea Conservation Association ,invented a project to deliver seafood to those suffering from Covid-19

Since the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus, local fishermen are another group that has been directly affected from the pandemic . Even if they can still go out to fish but finding it hard to the sell as all the sales and distribution channels has suffered a major decline. The purchase of aquatic products in the community was also reduced and disrupted by physical distancing measures. Fish rafts had to stop operating due to transportation and to monitor the quality causing the local fishermen to face major increase in sales drop.

Although the fishermen still have food to eat in their households and some can sell seafood animals to share in the community but the decrease in income was not enough to buy rice and other necessities. Therefore, the association has cooperated with the Federation of Local Fishermen of Thailand to undertake the project “Seafood Ambassadors ; Sends fish from the sea to the martyrs” held under "Seafood project from local fishermen to fight Covid-19" that tries to do to support fishermen and share help to various groups in society.
